Heat and Trail Blazers Claim First Wins After Recent Detentions
Miami scored eighty-six first-half scores versus the Memphis Grizzlies
Miami Heat earned a crushing 146-114 win against the Grizzlies in their first basketball match since player Rozier was detained over suspected unlawful sports betting.

But, the Heat were not distracted as they scored eighty-six first-half points to lead the Grizzlies by thirty-nine after two quarters, the largest half-time advantage in the team's 37-year existence.
Adebayo top-scored with 24 points and later stated Rozier had the support of the team.
"We stand behind him. Full support," Bam said. "You support him through and through. He's like family ultimately."
Heat coach Spoelstra added: "Terry is somebody who is very dear to all of us. He has made a real positive impact on our locker room.
"We send our thoughts and support for him as he goes through the situation."
The Trail Blazers also secured their first game after the arrests, with Brazil-born Tiago Splitter stepping in as temporary head coach in Billups' non-attendance and guiding the squad to a decisive 139 to 119 win over the Golden State Warriors.
"Everyone experienced positive times with Chauncey and his coaching style," Splitter said. "We're thinking of him and his loved ones but our focus is on the game."
NBA Commissioner Silver 'Disturbed' by Recent Events
Speaking about the detentions for the initial occasion, league head Silver said he was "very upset" by the incidents of the past few days.
"There's nothing more important to the league and its fans than the integrity of the competition," he informed a broadcaster. "And so I felt uneasy. It was very upsetting."
Silver also said an league probe into the player's actions in March 2023, when there was "aberrational betting" in a match he played for the Hornets versus the New Orleans Pelicans, found nothing untoward.
"We were informed by the authorities and the betting companies," he added.
"We then looked into the matter and were open about it. Although there was that aberrational betting, we, frankly, couldn't find anything.
"Federal authorities has subpoena power... [it] can threaten to put people in jail, can do all kinds of things that the league office is unable to.
"So, we've been cooperating from that point. And, of course, what they announced recently was an indictment.
"And 30 months later, he still hasn't been convicted of any offense, in justice to Terry.
"Obviously, it doesn't look good, but he's been suspended, and so it is a compromise in this case between protecting people's rights and conducting an inquiry."
