Trump's Granddaughter Receives Expert Advice from Tiger Woods Prior to LPGA First Appearance

Young golfer getting ready for major tournament

The rising star boasts substantial social media audience

Kai Trump will have numerous prominent cheerleaders when she starts her LPGA debut on Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who happens to be related to Donald Trump, obtained a sponsor's invitation to play at Florida's Annika event in the Sunshine State.

Her grandfather, a passionate golfer, possesses numerous golf courses and frequently plays against his granddaughter.

"He's quite skilled. I can't say much but we play tight competitions," she stated.

Kai explained that her grandfather, who cannot attend, told her: "Simply avoid anxiety."

"My grandpa basically suggested to go out there and have fun," she added.

"To me, he's simply a normal grandpa. He won't be there for the tournament. He's busy with running the country, making him rather occupied."

As an amateur, the golfer has participated in only three events in 2024 and has position 461 in AJGA rankings.

Yet she's able to get advice from golf legend, romantically involved with Kai's mother.

"He represents the greatest golfer worldwide," Kai stated.

"Furthermore, he's a more impressive human being. He suggested me to compete, have fun, and go with whatever happens."

She'll challenge some of the biggest names in professional golf at the Annika, featuring world number two the champion, British Charley Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.

The LPGA commented that her participation exposes golf to different demographics, specifically among younger fans.

Kai boasts substantial online presence and recently launched a personal fashion and living label.

She begins at 17:30 GMT.
